Pro Motocross Championship, Round 3 – Thunder Valley MX – Lakewood, CO

Blake Baggett made a huge statement about his intentions for this season’s 450 class title chase at round three of Pro Motocross Series. Reminiscent of the Blake Baggett that won the 2012 250 outdoor championship, he served notice that he’s “in it to win” in 2017. His 3-1 moto scores don’t reflect how impressive his ride was after a first turn pile-up in the first moto left him charging through the field to a third place finish. He then returned in the second moto to reel in and pass Eli Tomac for his first career 450 outdoor victory. Congratulations Blake! In the 250 class, Zach Osborne used consistent 8-5 moto scores to maintain his points lead in the championship chase.
