FLY Riders Debut 2014 Racewear at Red Bud

The AMA Lucas Oil Outdoor National series made stop number seven this past weekend at world famous Red Bud
MX in Buchanan, Michigan. With rain most of the week before the track shaped up to be one the roughest of the
season so far. Ruts were deep and weather was good for another great weekend for Fly racing.
As one of the best national tracks on the circuit, and with an amazing fan base due to the July Fourth holiday, FLY
decided to up the ante even more by choosing Red Bud to debut its 2014 racewear. FLY Team riders wore the 2014
designs in the first and second motos and Andrew Short and Trey Canard received lengthy television coverage as
the two ran upfront in moto one.

Andrew Short would start off his day at Red Bud aboard his BTO Sports/KTM/BBMX ride with a fourth place finish in
moto one, followed by fellow Fly Rider Trey Canard aboard his Muscle Milk/Factory Honda in 5th after suffering a
crash while running in a podium position. Both riders would have a good second moto as well placing them both
inside the top ten overall on the day. Other notable finishes were riders Les Smith and Michael Byrne finishing
out the day in 14th overall and 22nd overall.

In the Lites class Fly Riders had a decent day with riders Justin Starling and Ryan Zimmer finishing22nd and
26th overall on the day. Alex Martin would finish 30th overall, followed by Privateer Sean Hackley in 39th after
suffering two DNF’s.
