Jimmy Povolny New Amateur Rider Support Manager

July 19, 2013 - 9:16 PM

Starting at the Ponca City Amateur National this weekend, Jimmy Povolny will join FLY Racing as its new Amateur Rider Support Manager. Povolny comes to FLY Racing after 17 years as a privateer pro racer. Povolny replaces longtime Amateur Rider Support Manager Rod Reynolds as Reynolds moves on to a fulltime role as WPS Offroad Product Manager. After many years on the road, Reynolds looks forward to spending more time at home with his family and on his motorcycle.
Like many kids, Povolny has been riding and racing dirt bikes since age five; and it’s been a total hands-on experience from managing sponsors, travel, bike work and mechanic, to finances, driving to events, and of course trying to be the best racer he could be. With his intense work ethic, FLY Racing knows he’ll give 100% effort to represent the brand at the races with excellence.
Both Rod Reynolds and Jimmy Povolny will be attendance at the Ponca City and Loretta Lynn’s amateur nationals, with Povolny taking over the reins fulltime after these two events. Look for the all-new FLY Amateur Support rig at an event near you in the future.
