2025 Spring Nationals Recap

2025 Spring Nationals Recap

Apr 30th 2025

19 Championships | 4 Nationals | Coast to Coast Dominance

In Case You Missed It

Heres a look inside the world of amateur racing—where the passion runs deep, the family dynamic is tight, and the racing never lets up.

From Florida sand to Texas clay to California hardpack, FLY Racing has been in the thick of it—racking up wins, supporting athletes, and showcasing the next generation of gear and grit. Over the last month, we’ve been everywhere Spring Nationals took us, and we’re proud to recap a run that brought home 19 championships and left a lasting impression at every stop.

Before the gates dropped at RCSX, Freestone, Spring A Ding, and Cal Classic; these athletes—and their families—were already putting in the work.

Months of intense preparation at training facilities across the country set the stage for what we witnessed this Spring. From early mornings on the bike to long days in the gym and nights spent fine-tuning starts and lap times, these young racers have dedicated themselves fully to their craft.

But it doesn’t stop with the kids. Behind every rider is a family making massive sacrifices—parents wearing multiple hats as mechanics and coaches, siblings living life on the road, and families spending weeks (even months) away from home to chase the dream. The commitment is real, and it’s what makes this sport so powerful.

FLY Racing sees that effort—and we’re proud to stand beside these families every step of the way

RCSX – Daytona International Speedway

March 2nd-4th | Daytona Beach, FL

Spring Nationals kicked off with the Ricky Carmichael Amateur Supercross (RCSX) at the legendary Daytona International Speedway. With eight Elite Amateur athletes and a strong roster of support riders, FLY Racing walked away with five championships across the 50cc to 250 Pro Road to Futures classes.

The track, built overnight following the Supercross show, delivered some of the best racing we’ve seen. Despite the pressure and tight schedule, our crew stayed up front and proved FLY Racing is built to win.

JS7 Spring Championship - Freestone Raceway

March 4th-9th | Wortham, TX

After RCSX, most families loaded up and drove through the night to Texas for the next stop. FLY Racing was represented by seven Elite athletes and came away with five championships.

MotoPlayground Spring A Ding Ding – Oak Hill Raceway

March 10th -16th | Alvord, TX

At Oak Hill, FLY Racing came in with full force—bringing the only full gear brand display to the event. We were one of only three gear reps present all weekend, making sure riders, families, and fans could check out FLY Racing’s latest lineup of premium racewear products, all while taking advantage of FLY Racing’s trackside support services.

Our setup featured the 2025 gear line across youth, women’s, and adult categories. We had a hanging tree of gear lines in a full size run paired with the 2025 Objective CC helmets, allowing people to try on the product firsthand and get a feel for fit, comfort, and performance. Mannequins showed off each line in detail—giving attendees a real-time look at how the gear fits and flows on a body.

FLY Racing showed up on the track too—with nine Elite athletes representing the brand and bringing home an impressive seven championships throughout the week, combining both supercross and motocross track wins.

We also brought the vibes—FLY Racing stickers and foam fingers were available for anyone passing by, adding that extra bit of fun for the kids. It wasn’t just a display—it was a place to hang out, connect face-to-face, talk product, and feel that sense of home at the FLY Family pits.

2x Promotions California Classic – Fox Raceway

April 4th-6th | Pala, CA

Spring Nationals wrapped up with a bang at the Cal Classic held at Pala Raceway. With riders battling it out under the California sun, FLY Racing finished strong, closing the month with even more hardware.

FLY Racing Amateur Elites walked away with two championships at Cal Classic and several additional podium finishes across premier classes. The competition was deep, but FLY Racing athletes showed up and delivered once again.

Family, Racing, and FLY Racing Support

What really makes a difference? Being there. From giving high-fives in staging, to helping with gear counts, to standing at the podium to celebrate victories—FLY Racing shows up for our riders. That kind of support goes a long way in this sport, and the racing community notices. It’s one of the big reasons we’ve seen riders make the switch to FLY Racing—not just for the gear, but for the people and the energy behind it.

Fully embracing the FLY Family motto, FLY Racing Ambassador Andrew Short even made it a full family affair—racing multiple classes, sharing the gate with his son Hudson, and leaning on his wife Jackie Short to handle podium speeches and spinning wrenches as Andrew’s mechanic. It was the perfect example of FLY Racing’s family-first racing culture.

To every racer, family, and fan—thank you for making these events unforgettable. The momentum is real, and we’re not letting off the throttle.

We’ll see you at the next gate drop. Stay FLY.
