Honda Australia continued their MX2 dominance down under, winning their 6th consecutive championship. This year was the breakout for Alex Larwood, winning his first championship for the dominant boys in red. Wearing the 2027 EVO line, Larwood capped off a season where he won 9 of 16 individual races and fought through crashes at the finale to earn the Aussie title. Larwood will now head stateside for the final 3 rounds of Pro Motocross.
Honda Australia collectively won 14 of the 16 individual races in MX2, with teammate Kayd Kingsford bringing home runner-up in the championship as well as a double-win at the final round. Kingsford’s rookie year in MX2 left no doubt he will be a contender in 2027. Another year of racing, another year of winning for Yarrive Konsky’s red riders.
